Project goals
The project was driven by the desire to expand the living experience of a single-family home through the creation of a pool combining aesthetics, functionality, and comfort. The aim was to transform the rear garden into a private leisure area, refined and consistent with the architectural language of the house.
Site conditions
The residence is a two-story building surrounded by a private garden. The intervention area was located at the back, in an outdoor green space free of existing structures or restrictions, making it suitable for transformation.
Design approach
The pool was designed with a clean, regular layout, discreetly blending into the context. Its dimensions (4.50 × 7.50 m) were chosen to ensure safe and versatile use, while the infinity-edge type creates a visual sense of continuity with the surrounding landscape. Access, water management, and safety systems were developed in compliance with current regulations, with particular attention to sustainable maintenance.
Details and materials
The pool structure consists of a reinforced concrete base and prefabricated steel panels. The internal surfaces are fully lined with a polyester-reinforced PVC membrane, resistant to UV rays, humidity, and thermal variations, ensuring durability and long-lasting aesthetic quality. The combination of materials and technical solutions guarantees not only high standards of quality but also efficient management and maintenance of the pool.
