Project goals

The project involved a semi-detached villa in Dello, renewed through the addition of an in-ground pool and, later, a major energy upgrade. A multi-phase project combining comfort, aesthetics, and sustainability.
The main aim was twofold: to improve the livability of the outdoor area with a stylish and functional pool, and to enhance the building’s energy performance. The project sought to improve not only the home’s efficiency, but also its appearance and the quality of life of its residents.

Site conditions

The villa was structurally sound but had an outdated exterior and an underused garden with an above-ground pool. It required both aesthetic and functional updates, as well as new systems, to meet modern living and energy standards.

Design approach

The work was carried out in two phases. The first focused on building an in-ground infinity pool with modern finishes, designed to blend harmoniously into the landscape. The second involved a full renovation of the facades with thermal insulation, new windows, and solar panels, while keeping coherence with the original architectural style but giving the house fresh colors and a cleaner, more contemporary look.

Details and materials

The pool was built using prefabricated steel panels, finished in anthracite, and surrounded by stone-effect porcelain paving that integrates seamlessly with the garden. The new facades in vermilion red and light gray redefine the house’s volumes, while high-performance windows and rooftop solar panels highlight the focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.
