Italy
An unfinished house comes to life thanks to a project that completely reorganizes the interior layout, moving the living area to the upper floor to enjoy a spectacular view of Lake Garda.

Project goals
The project aims to transform an incomplete building into a contemporary, functional residence strongly connected to the landscape. The goal is to maximize the existing potential by reversing the traditional layout: the living area has been moved to the first floor to open visually onto the lake, while the bedrooms are on the ground floor for privacy and comfort.
Site conditions
The house has two habitable floors (basement and ground floor) and a first floor in a raw, unfinished state. The building has been left as a construction site for years and requires significant redistribution to become fully livable.
Design approach
The layout has been completely redesigned. The first floor houses a large, bright living area including a living room, kitchen, dining area, a guest bathroom, and two terraces ideal for outdoor living. The ground floor contains three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and a walk-in closet in the master suite. An elevator has been added to improve accessibility between floors.
Details and materials
The style is modern and minimalist: natural wood flooring, white walls, exposed beams, and large openings for natural light. Furniture will feature elegant contrasts, such as light and dark marble in the bathrooms and a white kitchen with a black countertop. The result is a refined, welcoming space that combines aesthetics and functionality in a unique setting.
